A new beginning - Week 0 (Weds 10 September 2014)

So yesterday was the 1st day of my New You diet. I have recently lost 10lbs, but I've got SO much more to lose. I wanted to give my weight loss another boost and have decided (as well as talking to the doctor) about going down the VLCD route. I've done a VLCD (very low calorie) diet previously, so know what to expect - tough work, but fantastic results. I guess the trick is also to eat PROPERLY when you do go back to a 'normal' diet and not stuff your face like how has made you overweight in the first place.
I didn't have my New You packs yesterday, as waiting for a delivery, but did have some VLCD protein shakes in my desk at work, which I used 3 of, and then had a low carb meal in the evening, and a mint tea whilst watching Strictly Come Dancing (Tom, Jake, Sunetra, Scott my current faves!). Felt a bit tired and drained, and also had a MASSIVE headache. Also found it a bit hard to focus yesterday as quite tired. Feeling motivated though to lose some chub - looking forward to starting my journey (but a little bit nervous to as to how to cope in the first week). Anyway. Day 1 - here goes!  I hope to update my blog every week with my weigh in details... and rambling observations ;)..
